We love destination weddings! From San Francisco to Orange County, Melinda and Anand communicated with us via email to plan their wedding reception at Venue. Guests came from near and far to join this couple in celebrating the marriage, including family from the UK where Anand is from. They pulled all the stops for their special day, including flying in their favorite DJ from New York! These two are so in love! You see it in the way their gaze, their communication, and they mannerisms. Cuteness overload!
When we received the photos of Victor and Tanya's Wedding, we were so impressed with how well Jerome (Photographer) was able to capture their love for one another! It was an honor to witness two souls celebrate their matrimony with their closest family and friends near by.

What a sweet pair! Jacqueline and Danny were actually one of the first clients to book Venue. We are so happy they entrusted us with making their vision a reality. Three Petals decked the chandelier out with hanging wisteria, and it was a hit! Special shout out to Mike from FreeHope Photography for the great shots. Check out the highlights below:
What a fun and creative couple! Jennifer and Jeffrey paired up with Mele Amore Events and the end production was nothing short of seamless. The amount of consideration that the couple put into every detail of their special day did not go unnoticed. From the gorgeous table layout, to the customized alcohol, ending with the appearance of McConnell's, a Santa Barbara's local Ice Cream favorite! It is so inspiring to see Venue being used as the blank canvass that it was designed to be, we encourage our clients to bring in their ideas for us to help them execute. We're so happy that Jennifer and Jeffrey trusted us with their special day!

What a great collaboration this was! Venue paired up with Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA) Socal and contributed in hosting their meeting where Wedding professionals gathered to learn from Christina Millikin of Glow Event Design about how to use technology to work smarter and not harder! Thanks to the various sponsors, whom are all credited below, for being such a pleasure to work with. This event wouldn't have been a success without everyone's help. We look forward to the new connections we've made!

What a beautiful wedding! Kim and Jerry have been friends since their adolescent years and it is no secret that there was no detail that was too small for Kim and Jerry. They definitely pulled out all the stops for their wedding reception. From the customized decked out dessert table where EVERY cookie is hand-painted and designed down to the made-to-order hand-rolled cigars outside in the patio for their guests. Their coordinator Anh did such an amazing job assuring that the night went by seamlessly! Definitely a wedding for the books! Their warm and loving personalities made it so easy to work with them, and we couldn't be happier to have hosted their special day. Congratulations again Kim + Jerry, we wish you the best as you start the next chapter of your lives together!

We love multi-cultural weddings! What do you get when you mix Vietnamese and Cambodian traditions? A night filled with consuming spirits, TONS of food, and gorgeous cultural attire! It feels like just yesterday that Julia and Larry were walking down the aisle and reading their wedding vows. When you see the way that Julia and Larry look at one another it's easy to see how much they love one another. They were such a pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier with how these photos turned out.

What a turn-out! This was by far the largest ceremony that we've hosted at Venue. Kristina and Luan were such a pleasure to work with. We were a little nervous about the transition from ceremony to reception since this would be the first time we transitioned the entire space from such a large ceremony to an equally large reception, but everything went smoothly and Kristina and Luan were so patient and kind! Kristina's modern rustic vision for her wedding was nothing short of gorgeous. We loved the different accents of floral throughout the space, from the ceremony arch down to the cake table! Thank you, Kristina + Luan for such a wonderful night and mellow crowd, and not to mention the surprise Pikachu visit!

Another successful wedding paired with fabulous florals from our sister company, Three Petals! It's always fun when we get to work together to transform the space into a nice and elegant reception. Alex and Aldwin were cool, calm, and collected throughout the entire evening. Definitely one of the most mellow couples we've had the pleasure of working with. They were nothing but appreciative and grateful towards our staff the entire night andwe can't be more thankful. There was nothing but good vibes traveling through the room as guests helped themselves to the bar, photo booth, and not to mention an amazing family-style dinner!

This wedding was bursting at the seams with nothing but sentimental memories! Sharon and James are college sweethearts who hosted a ceremony and reception at venue. During their ceremony, the couple practiced traditions from their Korean Culture and afterwards the guests transitioned over to the modern American-style reception we had setup for them. As the night progressed, Sharon and James had one more treat in place for all their guests… it was a flawlessly executed dance!! The dance was Choreographed by Ry Kim, a partner of the Kinjaz Dojo. For those of you who don't know, Kinjaz is an LA based dance crew that was on America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). Definitely one of the most original couple dances we've seen here! Check out the video of the dance on our Instagram (Venueby3p)!

For the last few years, Three Petals has had a feature in Ceremony Magazine. Last year, one of our bouquet's was even featured on the cover! This year, they were able to join forces with us here at Venue and feature both businesses. The designers put together two tablescapes for their audience. The first one was a beautiful "country chic" tablescape displayed in front of Venue's living wall and the second look was what we'd like to call a "modern garden". Check out the photos below!

Upon initially meeting Renee Elise (Coordinator) for our walk-through of Venue and hearing her vision for this Mt. Everest themed birthday party, I knew it was going to be something that we've never seen before. As her vision came to life, we were blown away with the final product. There was no detail that was overlooked when planning this event for such an inspirational birthday boy, Mike Gibbons! To give you a bit of a back story, Mike Gibbons has climbed the 7 summits of the world, including Everest… Twice! To pay tribute to this amazing talent Renee recreated Mt. Everest's base camp at Venue. Starting with a Nepal themed entrance, leading up to tents stationed with the Base Camp sequence progression paired with elevation level printed onto the floor. From there the guests were transitioned to a Museum filled with Gibbon's rock climbing gear, clippings of articles that document his journey, and various pieces of memorabilia from his excursions. To top it all off, the food was phenomenal! Hors d'oeuvres were provided and themed to match the setting of the station that it was at. The guests finished off the night with fresh baked chocolate-chip cookies paired with ice cold milk shots out of a the Mt. Everest ice sculpture. What a night!

We are so excited to release photos from Erin & David's wedding for you! This couple trusted Three Petals to transform the Venue into an amorously inviting space and they did not disappoint. I mean, have you ever seen a more beautiful floral skirt? Look closely at the sweetheart table… Oh, and did we mention that all the flowers are real! The 3P team really outdid themselves this time. Not to mention the handmade from scratch cherry blossom trees on the sides of the stage. Their unique layout really contributed to ambiance of the space, the King's table added with our round tables and infinity chairs provided the guests with a family friendly atmosphere. We invite you to check out and enjoy the photos of this "unplugged" wedding below!
When looking at Brynne and Joe it's easy to see that they really are kindred spirits. It was so touching to witness their closest friends and family gather together for a night full of memories, good food, and great music. What an original wedding reception! After the ceremony, the space was flipped and transformed into a stunning starry night. Adding in a lounge, cold brew station, chips and salsa table, and a buffet. The couple opted out of the traditional cake for dessert and set up a donut buffet from the LA renowned California Donuts.

A wedding equipped with florals galore, the Three Petals team really delivered with their deconstructed floral wall. As the night progressed there was nothing but good vibes in the air as guests helped themselves to the photo booth, donut bar, and the couple even had a chocolate dipped banana truck parked outside!

In addition to hosting their Meet the Firms event back in October, Beta Alpha Psi & Accounting Society came back to Venue in December to host their Awards & Initiations Banquet. It was so inspiring to witness so many young professionals gathering together after accomplishing a semester-long pledging process and being initiated into the organization. There was a seated dinner provided by Venue's in-house catering, and key note speakers from some of the most well renowned accounting firms worldwide!

Traditionally in the Philippines, on one's 18th Birthday, a Filipino girl hosts a large party complete with her own hand-picked entourage of 18 individuals. Venue was lucky enough to host Aya Morales' debut here! Everything from the color-scheme to the food was phenomenal. Thanks to Wilmarose of Lovely Jubilee Event Design, the night's agenda was seamless. Starting with Aya's entourage performance, transcending to dinner with a show, and ending with dessert and dancing!
Because little Khavy's bday bash should be a big one.
Following this lovely couple's ceremony at the Newport Beach Marriott, we welcomed them and their guests to an elegant reception at the VENUE, which was literally blossoming with florals. Of course, we urge all clients to design the space to their heart's content, but this is an instance that proves how much statement floral arrangements can elevate an event to another level.
Here's their wedding video for your viewing!
If you thought your job was cool, meet Jack's Surfboards. At a holiday party held here at the Venue, the company treated their employees to a night of dancing, drinking, and raffle prizes (read: wet suits, Disney passes, cash prizes, and various pieces of surf gear).
Guests came from near and far, ranging from LA County and branched out to San Clemente. To ensure everyone had a good time, party busses were on hand to transport some back to the farther cities. Oh, also three words: Unlimited. Taco. Stand.
So, uh, how do we apply to work here?
